Accessibility Statement

Last updated July 14, 2026

MarshMinder is committed to making its website usable for as many people as possible. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

Measures we take

  • Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure and landmarks.
  • A “skip to content” link for keyboard users.
  • Labeled form controls and clearly labeled filters.
  • Full keyboard operability with a visible focus indicator.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images.
  • Color choices intended to meet AA contrast, in light and dark mode.
  • Support for the “reduced motion” system setting.

Known limitations

The interactive map uses a third-party mapping library that has limited support for screen readers. The Reserve and Guides pages present the same area information as accessible, structured lists — please use them as an equivalent alternative to the map.

Feedback

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. If you encounter a barrier or have a suggestion, please email [your contact email]. We aim to respond within a reasonable time and to address issues as quickly as we can.
