MarshMinder is (1) an informational tool that aggregates publicly available details about managed public waterfowl hunting areas — locations, reservation deadlines, and general access rules — across the U.S. flyways, and (2) an online marketplace and messaging platform where landowners may list private land for lease or day hunts and hunters may browse those listings and contact landowners.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. Hunting is a regulated activity; you are responsible for holding all required licenses and permits.
Some features require an account, which you can create with an email and password or through Google sign-in. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and remain responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
Deadlines, coordinates, reservation procedures, regulations, and access rules may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, and vary by area and season. Weather, water, and migration information is provided for general reference only and is not a forecast you should rely on for safety or legal compliance.
You are solely responsible for verifying all information with the relevant official state or federal wildlife agency before hunting or relying on it. MarshMinder is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any state or federal wildlife agency, and is not a substitute for official regulations or licensing systems.
MarshMinder only provides a platform that connects landowners and hunters. We are not a party to, broker of, agent for, or guarantor of any lease, license, transaction, communication, or arrangement between users. We do not own, inspect, or control any listed land, and we do not verify the identity of users, the accuracy of listings, the legal right of a landowner to offer access, or any user’s licenses or insurance.
Any transaction or land access you arrange is at your own risk. Hunting and being on private land involve inherent risks, including serious injury or death. You assume those risks. Before paying anyone or entering any property, independently confirm ownership, permission, boundaries, insurance, licensing, and any written agreement directly with the other party. We strongly recommend a written lease and appropriate insurance.
Landowners may pay a one-time fee to “feature” a listing for a set period. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card details. Prices are shown before purchase. Except where required by law, featured-listing fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. You are responsible for any taxes associated with your use of the Service.
You are responsible for the listings, messages, reviews, photos, and other content you submit. You agree not to:
Reviews must reflect a genuine, first-hand experience. You retain ownership of content you submit but grant MarshMinder a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host and display it to operate the Service.
We may, at our discretion and without notice, remove any listing, message, review, or account, and suspend or terminate access, for any reason — including suspected violation of these Terms or applicable law. Users may block others and report content; reported content is reviewed on a best-effort basis.
The Service links to third-party websites, including agency reservation portals and regulation pages. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of those sites.
Some brands shown on the Service, including in the “Proudly supported by” section of our home page, are sponsors — meaning there is a commercial relationship between them and MarshMinder. A sponsorship is not a review, a test, or an endorsement of that company’s products by us, and it does not affect the hunting conditions, survey figures, scores, or rankings anywhere on the Service. Those come from the sources we name and are never influenced by who pays us.
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MarshMinder and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service, any listing, any user, or any information — including personal injury, property damage, or disputes between users. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months or US $100.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MarshMinder and its operators from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your dealings with other users.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access as described above. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
